Academy of Holy Angels Tennis players, Rachel Schneider and Alexa Snow, earned their way to a berth at the State Doubles Tennis Tournament.

The Senior Captains blew through the first two rounds of sections, dropping only two games in the opening rounds. They later fell to eventual section champion, Prior Lake before coming back through the double elimination bracket to earn "True Second" and qualify for the State Tournament. Schneider and Snow upset both the 2nd and 3rd seed to earn their right to play among the best. The girls will play this Thursday, 10am, at  the Baseline Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Minnesota.

Earlier this month, Snow, along with Senior Megan Shea and Marissa Mahoney were also named to the Academic All State Team. As a team, the Stars had a 3.82 GPA, good enough to earn the MSHSL Gold Academic Award.

Congratulations to Coach Steve Werle, and the Girls Tennis program on all their outstanding accomplishments this season.

Go Stars!!
